Treats and costumes and fun, Oh my!
Join the Frontier Homestead State Park in getting in the Halloween spirit October 10-13 with a four day spook-tacular event! You won’t want to miss this four day event tailored to give an early Halloween experience to visitors of all ages.
October 10th and 11th from 6:00 – 8:00 pm the Haunted Homestead kicks off with two nights of family fun. The grounds and buildings are transformed with decorations and there will be treats, games, and ghost stories for the whole family. For older visitors, or those who aren’t faint of heart, the following two nights focus on the Cedar City Cemetery and the paranormal.
October 12th at 6:30 pm visitors may follow our museum staff on a tour through the Cedar City Cemetery. This tour focuses on those who first arrived in Cedar City and a glimpse at some points of interest within the cemetery. This tour is led by flashlight to enhance the experience.
October 13th at 7:00 pm the homestead will be visited by the Southern Utah Paranormal Investigation team. For those brave enough to listen, their tales of paranormal investigations and experiences in Cedar City will certainly raise the hairs on your neck. Do you dare?
